Purpose-built specifically for divers, the series combines a bright 1.2" or 1.4" AMOLED display with scratch-resistant sapphire lens, 200-meter dive-rated case, metal leakproof inductive buttons and multiple dive modes for recreational to technical scuba diving and freediving.
The Mk3i features SubWaveTM sonar technology for diver-to-diver communication via preset messages (coming soon via software update1), and also supports monitoring of tank pressures, depth and distance (coming soon via software update1) for up to 8 divers, when paired with the Descent T2 transceiver (sold separately).
A built-in LED flashlight (51 mm versions only) keeps you going in low-light conditions, above or below water. DiveViewTM maps offer bathymetric depth contours and more than 4,000 dive sites to help you find where to dive and get oriented. Plus, a dive readiness tool, developed by Garmin, shows how lifestyle factors such as sleep, exercise, stress and jet lag can affect your body’s overall preparedness for diving — so, ultimately, you can make better-informed dive plan decisions.
